Sarasota Police Department

GFY provided civil engineering design, FDEP permitting, and construction administration for onsite 4″ and 6″ water mains, and offsite 10″ water main looped extension and sanitary sewer relocations to serve a new City of Sarasota Police Department facility. The Sarasota Police Department’s new headquarters building was designed to meet environmental sustainability goals of the US Green Building Council’s LEED New Construction criteria. At the time the USGBC certified the new police department headquarters, it was the first LEED certified police facility in the State of Florida.
