GFY provided Civil Engineering, Survey and Construction Phase services for this 122,000 SF, 2-story medical office facility in Hidden River Corporate Park. This project which will qualify for LEED Silver certification is a design/build venture in conjunction with Duke Realty. The total land area is 20 acres and includes a 7.4 acre remote parking lot. GFY re-evaluated the Hidden River stormwater master plan to justify decreasing the permitted detention pond area and allow for the VA high intensity parking requirement. The forested project area had several ‘grand’ oak trees. GFY took great pride in preserving these large specimen trees and several tree clusters while meeting the VA’s development program.
