George F. Young, Inc. provided Professional Civil Engineering services for the design, permitting, and construction services for the corporate headquarters of Home Shopping Network. The corporate headquarters required master planned elements including stormwater management, internal secured roads and 1,400 parking spaces for their over 4,000 employees, the largest single-employer campus in St. Petersburg.

Our involvement included the major infrastructure improvements throughout the campus, including extension of an 8” reclaimed water line to convert from a potable water source for their cooling towers, underground utility mapping of all fiber optic and private utilities within the campus, satellite television production connectivity site layout, wetland restoration and protection surrounding the campus, and incremental building expansions along with regional improvements to the public infrastructure to serve the facilities.
