Project Description
City of Clearwater Main Library
PROJECT OVERVIEW
City of Clearwater Main Library
George F. Young, Inc. provided site design, permitting and construction services for the reconstruction of the Clearwater Main Library located at 100 North Osceola Avenue in 2003. The project included the 90,000 SF, $20.2 million new building with sanitary, water, stormwater management and parking infrastructure improvements through a contract with Harvard Jolly Architects. Site development required unique design related to the soil conditions and the adjacent bluff overlooking Coachman Park. The Library was integrated into the Coachman Park and city streets pedestrian grid and parking facilities to maximize public access.
